The invitation cards and the exhibition leaflet for Maja Behrmann’s solo exhibition Lemmata at Galerie EIGEN + ART in Berlin take into account the definition of the title: in a simple, reduced, lexical and indexical way, they transport information.
Set all in one monospaced typeface to decline the idea of a lexicon, the glyphs of the typeface bend and warp in unusual and funky angles, drawing a parallel to Maja’s characters while being based in its own grid.
